How it all started
My story begins in early 2012. Back then, I was working hourly wages doing stained floors — living day by day, hour by hour, check by check. I earned just enough to survive, but never enough to give my family the life they deserved. Inside, I felt empty, lost, and tired of the cycle.
Around that same time, I was struggling with alcoholism and walking far from the life I knew I needed. In 2012, everything changed. I surrendered my life to Christ, and that decision became the turning point that reshaped my future. I left behind the things that were destroying me and chose a new path — one built on faith, responsibility, and purpose.
I knew I didn’t want to work for someone else anymore. I wanted to build something of my own. Something honest. Something meaningful. That choice opened the door to a new chapter… the mesquite life.
It started small — selling at flea markets every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Week after week. Year after year. A grind, but a blessing. Those long days taught me discipline, patience, and gratitude.
Now, after years of hard work and countless requests, we’re finally stepping online. What began as a rough start has become a testimony of grace, growth, and the beauty of second chances.
